Copilot training for life sciences

Microsoft Copilot training built for how life sciences actually works.

Why Microsoft Copilot

BioGuild delivers practical, compliant Microsoft Copilot training for life sciences teams: pharma, biotech, medtech, CROs and CDMOs. We train inside the Microsoft 365 tools your team already uses, so Copilot becomes daily practice you can trust rather than a licence nobody's sure how to use safely.

Most teams already have Copilot switched on in Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. Far fewer know what's safe to put into it, how to check its output before it reaches a report, or which version they're signed into, and it shows. Across organisations that have rolled out AI tools, only around 10% of employees use them weekly, with access typically limited to about a third of any department.

The difference that matters most in a regulated environment is the account. Signed in with a personal account, the consumer Copilot has no enterprise data protection and your prompts can be used to train Microsoft's models by default. Signed in with your organisation's work account, Microsoft 365 Copilot keeps prompts, responses and your organisational data within the Microsoft 365 service boundary, doesn't use them to train foundation models, and is covered by Microsoft's GDPR and EU Data Boundary commitments. We make sure your team knows the difference, and can prove it, in line with the EU AI Act's AI-literacy duty in force since February 2025.

What you get: a team that uses Copilot confidently on real work, knows what data goes where, verifies output before it travels, and documents what Copilot contributed: the answer ready before the auditor asks.

Copilot training

Below is a preliminary programme for our four-hour Copilot introduction. Every private course is tailored to your team, so topics and timing flex around what you actually need. This is the shape a typical session takes.

Microsoft 365 Copilot foundations

Recognise the capabilities and limitations of Copilot across your organisation, and how it uses organisational data securely and responsibly.

Prompting essentials for consultants

Write prompts with clear role, context, task, and desired output (the RCTO model), and adapt them for better results in life-sciences work.

Copilot across Microsoft 365

Use Copilot effectively in Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to draft reports, presentations, and communications.

Responsible AI in life sciences

Understand the risks around data security, accuracy, bias, and hallucination, and apply review processes fit for scientific and regulatory content.

Choosing the right format

BioGuild organises courses in different formats, all to the highest quality standards. Open courses are regularly announced and open for individual enrollment. Private courses are typically delivered in-house. With returning clients, we also organise ongoing programs for continuous learning experiences.

Open course for individuals

For professionals who need to skill up now. Send your team members to one of our open courses on the most pressing and trending topics.

Private course for your team

For a team with a shared knowledge gap. We run a course just for your people, tailored as much as you need, from our proven programs to something built from scratch.

Ongoing program

A long-term partnership that keeps your team ahead as the science, technology, and regulation shift.

Whether you're sending one person or transforming a department, we have a format that fits.

What your team walks away with

Training is only worth buying if something changes afterwards. Whichever level you choose, these are the things your team takes back into the work, and we train inside the Microsoft 365 environment your organisation already uses, so nothing here depends on buying new software.

Operate compliantly

Be ready before the auditor arrives. Your team knows what's required, what's permitted, and what to document; evidence ready before anyone asks.

One shared standard

No more workarounds or two people quietly pulling ahead while the rest fall behind. Everyone leaves with shared knowledge they can use the next day.

Faster work, visible gains

Copilot is redesigned into a real workflow, not bolted on, so the time and quality gains are measurable and reportable.

Built for life sciences

Our trainers come from biochemistry, regulated environments, and life-sciences consulting. They know your domain and your compliance reality.

We work with the tools you already use.

Portrait of Rizgar Saltik
Rizgar Saltik, MScIn-house trainer BioGuild

Rizgar has spent fifteen years in life sciences consultancy, guiding companies through digital transformation and operational challenges, watching first-hand how AI has reshaped the industry. As operations director at a major life sciences consultancy, he has implemented AI projects with Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot. He teaches from what he has built, not from the manual: participants leave knowing what these tools do in a real organisation, and what it takes to make them stick.

Sven has trained and coached life sciences teams on AI decision-making, moving them from uncertainty to confident, compliant daily use. With a background in chemistry and business consulting, he understands both the science and the commercial pressure his participants work under. He doesn't teach AI in theory: teams leave knowing which tools to trust, when not to trust them, and how to document what AI contributed, so the answer is ready before the auditor asks.
